European Subconscious level of the 3 Level Plan:  A picture of a thousand words!  When I started hunting pictures to describe features of the spiral levels - I found this and loved the idea of the classic 2 lion entrance to the path rather than being lost on the front of a building - whole different feel.  More decorative than stately.  All that work on the modeling isn't drowned by the architecture (could even make them yawn once in a while - bored lions) It wasn't until later that I realized there were 3 other architectural features on this print and they capture the winding up the slope terrain I was trying to describe - and note that one of them is round :) - this really does catch the European subconscious with roots in the columns of antiquity - the use of statues is great in the pictures second terrace!  And in that formal European garden way - I swear the design for Nemo's Mind and the European Subconscious level was in place before I found this picture - that is the artists way though - think it and then you find a hundred examples of others already dreaming it - in this case the evidence is more than a hundred years old and these artists never imagined there names could be seen through this magic and to promote a new medium to display their dream in 3D:  Edmund Kanoldt, Artist - A. Closs, Engraver
